Kia have been very busy of late with a host of new models coming it would seem in a constant stream.
Interestingly the K4 is not a EV! Engines are a 1.0 litre T-GDI mild hybrid with a six speed manual gearbox or a seven speed dual clutch auto. A 1.6 litre petrol GDI hybrid will follow later in the year.
The K4 is available in Ireland in three trim levels. The K2 baseline model starts from €31,500 and offers a high level of standard specification including Kia’s triple panoramic display (12.3″ touchscreen infotainment + 5.3” climate control + 12.3” digital drivers cluster), 16″ alloys, dual-zone climate control, forward & reverse parking sensors, forward collision avoidance assist, heated steering wheel & front seats, LED headlights, over-the-air updates and wireless carplay & android auto. The mid-level trim is a K3 model which offers additional features such as 17″ alloys, vegan leather seats, black & chrome exterior detailing, cube projection LED headlights, rear blind-spot collision avoidance assist, driver power adjustable seats with lumbar support, wireless charging and rear privacy glass for €34,000. The range topping GT-Line adds a digital key 2.0, driver memory seat, forward collision avoidance assist 2, glass sunroof, GT-Line exterior & interior styling, highway driving assist 2 , smart cruise control 2 with stop & go, ventilated front & heated rear seats for €38,500. The K4 comes in a choice of seven colours including two non-metallic colours and vehicles are now available to test drive at Kia dealerships nationwide.
