Jaguar has announced a new partnership with Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026, Ireland’s biggest celebration of contemporary art, presented by the Contemporary Art Gallery Association (CAGA).
Taking place from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2026, DublinGallery Weekend brings together Ireland’s most dynamic artists and galleries for four days of contemporary visual art across the capital. The 2026 edition will invite audiences to discover Ireland’s contemporary art scene through exhibitions, artist talks, art trails, workshops, and citywide cultural collaborations.
Dublin Gallery Weekend is the perfect backdrop for the highly anticipated Irish launch of the Jaguar Type 01. The coveted brand has earned a reputation for original thinking inspired by the singular vision of founder, Sir William Lyons, who believed that Jaguar should be a ‘copy of nothing’ and that its cars should be considered as artforms.
As part of the event programme, Jaguar will present Type 01 in a curated gallery space at The Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), marking its official debut in Ireland. Type 01 is the most technologically advanced and powerful Jaguar in the brand’s history. A luxury four-door GT that never arrives unnoticed.

Type 01 is defined by exuberant proportions, with its low roofline, long bonnet, sleek silhouette and dramatic presence. Starting from a single line and a blank sheet of paper, it is the most aerodynamic and powerful Jaguar road car. A bold, one-of-a-kind that breaks convention, with a clear lineage to the great Jaguars of the past including the E-type and XJS.
Beneath Type 01’s clean surfaces is a bespoke Jaguar Electric Architecture which offers more than 1,000PS, always with power in reserve, for a drive that is unmistakably Jaguar. Powered by an 850-volt electrical architecture, it delivers a 720km WLTP range (up to 450 miles) and adds 321km (200 miles) in 13 minutes using 350kW charging. Type 01 represents a new standard of power, aerodynamics and technological advancement for Jaguar.
