True to its better-over-time philosophy, today, Tesla is introducing a series of upgrades to its most popular vehicles – Model 3 and Model Y. These enhancements deliver greater range for Model 3 and Model Y, and provide improved functionality for Model 3.
These new upgrades include:
Model 3
- New Front Facing Camera
- A new front camera is now available, located in the front fascia. It offers drivers an expanded view of the surroundings on the center screen and is equipped with a fluid washer and integrated heating to prevent fogging and stay clean in all weather conditions.
- New Indicator Stalk
- A new precision-engineered indicator stalk ensures effortless control while driving.
- Higher range on all variants
- Upgraded battery packs with higher-density cells deliver more energy. Combined with segment-leading efficiency, this results in even greater real-world range for owners.
- Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive now offers 520km WLTP with 19” wheels (554km est. with standard 18” wheels), up from 513km previously.
- Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive now offers 750 km WLTP, up from 702 km previously (with standard 18” wheels).
- Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive now offers 716 km est. With 18” wheels, up from 678 km est. previously.
- Model 3 Performance now offers 580 km WLTP, up from 528 km previously.
Model Y
- Higher range on Long Range All-Wheel Drive
- Upgraded battery packs with higher-density cells deliver more energy. Combined with segment-leading efficiency, this results in even greater real-world range for owners.
- Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive now offers 629 km WLTP, up from 586 km previously.
